"STITCHING TALES" ....
.....is a group of crafters, with an interest in knitting, crocheting,
quilting, cross stitch, and other types of needlework.
New members are always welcome, and current members will help
beginning knitters.
We work on individual and shared projects, and introduce each other to
new and interesting craft-related books.
Our members range in age from 14 to 90.
A patient and skilled teacher helped some of us with our
first sock-knitting efforts.
We made bibs and hats for local infants in need, and a blanket for
Project Linus.
For two years, our group has participated in the Osterville Historical
Society's holiday "Festival of Trees" by creating unique knitted
- that's right, KNITTED - ornaments.
A recent group endeavor was the RED SCARF PROJECT. We'll be
glad to tell you more about it....
Next up: a YARN BOMBING!!
WE MEET EVERY OTHER THURSDAY, AT 6:OO PM
NEXT MEETING IS FEBRUARY 9.
Bring your own project, your ideas, and your enthusiasm!
