The Osterville Library announces "Winter Hours".  OVL will be closed Mondays from December 3rd through March 25th.  Monday openings will resume with Monday April 1.  If you have any questions, please call the library.

Thousands of library patrons around the world are participating in the first ever Big Library Read of an eBook, and you are invited to join in the fun! NEW BOOK STORE HOURS
Starting May 20th, The Friends' Book Store announces new hours:
Monday - Friday  12 noon to 3:00 PM
Saturday  10:00-1:00 PM
The Book Store is on the lower level of the library just outside the elevator doors.   
 

Wianno Golf Tournament Fast Approaching
The field is filling fast, but there is in opportunity to participate in the putting contest at 4:00 PM which includes dinner, music and auction for $100 per person.   Or just join us for the dinner, music and auction at $50.   You are sure to have a great time.  Anyone who would be interested in joining the prestigious group of sponsors for this notable event should contact Maryann Colombo at 508-420-0550. Sponsorships are going fast, don't miss your opportunity.  
 
Sponsors receive a T-sign with your name, message or company name.  You will also be included in a list of sponsors distributed after the tournament.  You will be included on the Library website.  Once paid, your sponsorship will be displayed at the Library entrance for all patrons and visitors to see.  After the tournament, a framed list of all sponsors will be displayed in the Library as a thank you for the summer season.

Lunch with Westminister Dog Show Chairman Thomas Bradley
The Trustees of the Osterville Library are auctioning the chance to have lunch with Thomas H. Bradley, 3d, Chairman of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, on Thursday August 1, 2013.
 
The high bidder, and up to five friends, will enjoy their own private dining room overlooking the beautiful Nantucket Sound at the exclusive Wianno Club in the lovely seaside village of Osterville, Massachusetts.

Hearing Assist Services will be available in the Main Meeting Room
 
The Trustees of the Osterville Village Library are pleased to announce the acquisition of new hearing assist equipment, which will allow patrons with hearing difficulties to fully enjoy the many programs and presentations in the auditorium of the new Osterville Village Library. 
 
This new equipment was generously donated by Dr. Theresa Cullen, President of Cape Cod Hearing Center, 60 North Street, Hyannis, MA. Dr. Cullen is Cape Cod’s first Doctor of Audiology and has over 27 years experience as an Audiologist.
 
Sound from the library’s PA system will be sent wirelessly to either an ear bud and receiver, or, for those with T-coil hearing aids, directly to their hearing aids via a neck-hung receiver. Receivers will be available upon request for any program in the upstairs auditorium of the library, located at 43 Wianno Avenue, Osterville, MA.
